ANTONELLA DELLE FAVE

Antonella Delle Fave, MD specialized in Clinical Psychology, is professor of Psychology at the Medical School, University of Milano, Italy. Her research work is centered on the study of flow, mental health indicators and daily experience fluctuation across cultures and among individuals experiencing conditions of diversity and adversity. She is involved in research and intervention projects focused on the promotion of resilience and psychological resources among patients with chronic diseases and their family caregivers.
After acquiring a degree in Ayurveda – one of the traditional medical systems of India – she has been conducting research studies aimed at integrating the perspective of Western medicine and psychology with the approach of Ayurveda to psychophysical health and disease.
Her scientific production includes papers in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as authored and edited international books. She is currently Editor in Chief of the Journal of Happiness Studies.
She served as President of the International Positive Psychology Association (2009-2011) and of the European Network of Positive Psychology (2006-2010), and she was founding member and President of the Società Italiana di Psicologia Positiva (SIPP).
SANTO DI NUOVO

Santo Di Nuovo is Full Professor of Psychology at the University of Catania, Italy, Director of the Department of Education at the University of Catania, and President of the Italian Psychological Association. His research is focused on methodological and psychometric issues across a variety of topics in experimental and applied psychology.
In association with SPR, the Society for Research in Psychotherapy, Dr. Di Nuovo has coordinated studies on the evaluation of psychotherapy, with particular reference to assessment techniques and data analysis. He has translated and adapted for Italy R. Elliott's Change Interview, and more recently, the Olson’s FACES-IV with colleagues at Rome’s “Sapienza” University and the Morey's Personality Assessment Inventory, with a team from the Universities of Padua, Turin, Perugia, Chieti and Catania. He is currently working on translating and adapting the Hope State and Trait Scale with Anthony Scioli of Keene State College.
In the field of cognitive neuroscience, he collaborates with the Centre for Robotics and Neural Systems, University of Plymouth (UK), the Hallam University at Sheffield (UK), and other Italian and foreign research institutions, with main applications in assistive robotics and sport psychology.
Dr. Di Nuovo is a member of the scientific committee of numerous scientific journals, coeditor of Life Span and Disability, and editorial director of Series in Psychology.
Dr. Di Nuovo is also member of the scientific committee of various inter-university and inter-department research centers. He has obtained the following prizes: the International 'William James' Prize (2011), Prize 'Sancte De Sanctis' (2015) for the book Prigionieri delle neuroscienze? published by Giunti, Florence, and the award of Distinguished Italian Psychologist for 2017 by the Italian-American Association of Psychology (IAPS).
Dr. Di Nuovo has over 300 publications, including 35 books. Many of his works are published in international scientific journals or volumes.
FABIO LUCIDI

Fabio Lucidi, Ph.D, is a full professor in Psychometrics at the Department of Psychology of Development and Socialization Processes, “Sapienza”- University of Rome. He has diverse research interests in the area of health psychology. His main focus is the study of the processes involved in people’s “self-regulation” of healthy behaviors. Professor Lucidi’s research activities have been funded by a number of different national and international organizations (e.g. Italian Ministry of Health, EU ERASMUS and ERASMUS+, WADA anti-doping agency, International Olympic Committee). He has authored more than 150 scientific papers. His works appears in the highest impact journals as well as many international publications.
Professor Lucindi has been a frequent keynote speaker for international and national conferences. He is involved in international collaborations with European as well as American Institutions and Universities and he is Adjunct Professor at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA, USA). Professor Lucindi is on the Editorial Board of several national and international scientific journals.
Professor Lucindi started his teaching career in 1993. From 2012 to 2015 he has been the Director of the Ph.D School of Psychological Sciences. Currently his teaching responsibilities include more than 300 students per year, at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. He is the Deputy Dean of Psychology in the Medicine and Psychology Faculty. Professor Lucindi is the past President of the Italian Association of Psychology and the current President of the Italian Society of Health Psychology.
NANSOOK PARK
Nansook Park is professor of psychology, director of the Michigan Positive Psychology Center at the University of Michigan, and a nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP) in USA. She is also a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. She did her graduate work both in Korea and the USA and has a research and practice background in clinical and school psychology.
She is a world leading expert on positive psychology. Her research focuses on human strengths and virtues and the promotion of positive development and well-being across the life-span in different culture settings. Her expertise includes character strengths and moral excellence, resiliency and growth, life meaning and purpose, positive experience, positive relationships, and strength-based practice.
She played a major role for the Positive Education project, Positive Youth Development project, Positive Health project, and Soldier Resilience and Growth Project. Her work has had impacts on research and practices in various settings including education, health care, business, and military worldwide. She was a recipient of the prestigious 2015 Christopher Peterson Gold Medal Award, the International Positive Psychology Association’s highest honor. She has over 120 scholarly publications and has given more than 100 invited lectures in 22 nations. She is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) steering committee and a Consulting Editor for The Journal of Positive Psychology.
ANTHONY SCIOLI

Anthony Scioli is the leading authority on the topic of hope. He is Professor of Psychology at the University System of New Hampshire’s Keene State College and a member of the Graduate Faculty at the University of Rhode Island. He is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Massachusetts (USA). Dr. Scioli is Associate Editor for the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality, and Consulting Editor for the Journal of Positive Psychology. Dr. Scioli obtained his BS in Honors at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Rhode Island. He completed Harvard fellowships in Health Psychology research with David McClelland and in Behavioral Medicine via the medical school. Dr. Scioli is the author of Hope in the age of anxiety (2009, Oxford U. Press), The power of hope (2010, HCI Press), as well as articles and book chapters on the topic [of hope].
He has created multiple hope assessment tools, including questionnaires, thematic coding systems, a Rorschach-based measure, and an IAT protocol. Members of the Swiss Academy of Sciences are using his measures to track hopefulness across Europe and Asia. With NIH funding, Dr. Scioli developed an intervention to instill fundamental hope in adolescents. Dr. Scioli is currently collaborating with Never Again Rwanda, to extend his hope intervention to youth impacted by genocide. Dr. Scioli is Italian born, from Cantalupo in Sannio (Molise).
